Thanks to all of you who have made this the most popular page on my website (over 30 downloads daily).
1. "Jim,
Thank you very much for sharing this template.
After 36 years of banging around on keyboards and early arthritis I also developed carpal tunnel syndrome.
This was a great help to me I am grateful.

2. "Hi Jim,
I've looked for a template for some time for filling-out a personal check. I'm happy to have discovered the one you posted. I do have a question. For those of us with printers that will accept a standard personal check (you mentioned two of your three will), how do we use your template and avoid the scotch tape?
Thank you for your time and hospitality . . .
Bill"
3. "Hi Jim,
Many thanks to you. I've been practicing with blank pieces of paper. I'm must admit, I didn't even think about fooling the printer, but it works. I wish the search engines did a better job of offering your template, as I've researched this topic a number or times, but just discovered your template today. Thank you for sharing the template and thank you for the personal assistance.
Bill"
4. "Thank you for this check template Jim. For some reason when I enter a date (2 November 16) in the date field it shows 42676 will be printed on the check.
I am stumped about this as my knowledge of excel is limited. Thanks again.
Denis"
[NOTE: On 29 October 2016 all 5 data entry boxes and 5 Page Preview boxes in all 3 downloadable filetypes were changed to "text" format. They had previously been a mix of "text" and "number". If that fails to solve this problem, simply adding an apostrophe before the date (example '29 October 2016) will convert the date to text.]
5. "Jim,
I was about to write to you to let you know I managed to fix it! I unprotected the file and could adjust, just a little, the printing area, so, after some trials (and wasting two check blanks...) I manage to have a very good printing template. May be Bank of America checks are a little bit different. Many thanks.
Claudio"
6. "Jim,
Thank you very much for creating this incredibly useful and time-saving utility! And thank you even more for sharing it with us--at no cost!
Warmest regards, Darrell "
7. "Hi Jim,
Thanks for the info on the template. FYI, I modified the payee and both amount fields (same changes in both entry and print areas) to be left justified. I also modified the amount cells by left clicking the cells and selecting "Format Cells", selecting "Custom" and entering "@*-" (without the quotes) in the "Type" window. This fills all blank spaces in the cell with a "-".
Regards and thanks again,
Bill T."
